This collection of work explores mortality through antique images combined with contemporary photographs, looking at the world of the forgotten and unseen, both in long-lost people and tiny insects. I present fictional worlds manufactured through capturing and manipulating photographic images, both old and new, because fiction is often the most direct route to understanding the complexity and absurdity of the world around us and ourselves.
